We are a group of holistic physicians and practitioners located in a beautiful clinic in SE Portland, Oregon. At Urban Wellness Group, we focus on the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease with a focus on natural health. The programs and services we offer encompass all of your primary and specialized healthcare needs, ranging from acupuncture, nutritional counseling, homeopathy, IV therapy, biotherapeutic drainage, botanical medicine, spinal alignment and massage.

Our desire is to provide patients and families with top quality healthcare free of the standard barriers and frustrations of the typical medical experience. Our clinic facilitates tranquility, health and healing from the moment you walk in the door. Extensive use of reclaimed windows and natural building materials were used to create a comfortable, serene, and thoughtful environment. We won’t make you wait, though you may want to come early and relax with a complimentary cup of tea. You will have ample time to spend with your doctor and we will make every effort to get you into the clinic when you need to be seen.
Modeling Sustainability -
We strive to be a model of environmental sustainability. In creating the clinic, we have drawn upon the local business community to supply our paper, paint our walls, design the space, and create our website. Great care was taken to choose exclusively green products, from low VOC paints to nontoxic, water soluble wood stain to natural bamboo products. Most of our practitioners live close enough to bike or walk to work, all in an effort to decrease our overall environmental footprint.
Supporting Green -
We participate in the PGE Green Source program, which allows us to purchase 100% of our electricity from renewable sources, reducing our reliance on fossil fuels. Through our partnership with The Climate Trust, we provide our patients the opportunity to offset carbon dioxide emission. By supporting the Urban Wellness Group, patients will help to offset 13,200 pounds of carbon dioxide annually. We also support local environmental groups, such as the Crag Law Center, that advocate for the sustainable use of our natural resources.
Developing Community -
We support neighborhood business, calling upon the services of designers and craftsman who live and work within a two mile radius of our clinic. Francesca Quagliata from 4th Street Design was instrumental in the design, layout, and aesthetic of the clinic. Building and renovation materials were all purchased from local Southeast Portland businesses. In keeping with this ethic, we are enthusiastic about being the healthcare choice for the surrounding area.
Natural Medicine for All -
We all know that prevention is the best medicine, and that taking care of ourselves today can greatly decrease future medical costs. In this light, it is our goal to make the healthcare we provide accessible to everyone. We offer affordable community acupuncture, which allows our patients to receive top-notch care at a reduced price. We also offer free fifteen minute initial consultations so that patients can decide which healthcare services or programs are the best fit for them. In this way, we can be the best and most affordable choice for any person seeking to improve their health.
